This Folder drive, an idea from a post of pinterest, inspired by a MacOS folder
for the converter SATA to USB-C i used this product on Aliexpress: https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005009909811930.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.238.6b923696xwVISS&gatewayAdapt=glo2ita
I wanted a Mac-inspired product, but the only one I'd seen was David Delahunty's, which has been out of stock for a while. So I decided to make it myself (also because I didn't have much time, and I wanted to make it as a gift).
the first idea for closing the lid was with magnet, but then I realized that it would never hold so the solution that i adopted is drill a hole in the cover and insert some screws.
Yes, I know it's not the best way but it worked (also because, as I repeat, I didn't have time to do a trolley closure)
the only problem is when I print the container the top part doesn't print well so I smoothed it with sandpaper and applying many layers of paint/putty and a lot of patience
