I just got tired of using the cooler as a table and clearing it off each time I needed something in the cooler. So here is a very stable folding table to take to the next outing. I designed this with three legs so no rocking on uneven ground and also it's a bit lighter. I wanted this separate from the folding chair for extra stability and safety when getting out of the chair. I used my Maslow CNC to cut the plywood. The struts are just 1/8 X 1/2 aluminum left over from an earlier project. (aluminum is much cheaper when you buy it in 16 foot lengths). The legs are 1/2 aluminum and 24 inches long. All the small bolts used in the shaft collars were 4-40. The shaft collar just holds the wood stringers in place and the shaft collar strut pieces hold the aluminum diagonals. (unsure why they are not pictured) The clips are used on the two removable struts that snap to hold the swinging leg in place. Some collars can be tight but some will need to swivel on the aluminum.
