This is a technical build requiring some electronics, soldering and Arduino programming.
If you have a need for sturdy foot pedal with good sensitivity then these have done me a great service (as you can tell by the photo, I have been using them a while now).
They simply emulate a keyboard button press and have no analogue functionality.
My implementation uses Pro-Micro inline. This takes the microswitch contacts and converts them to a USB Keyboard Keypress. The Pro-Micro emulates a USB keyboard using the "keyboard" library.
The firmware I have written for this project uses a windows application that I also created to let you program whatever keys you want for each of the pedals.
Requires:
4mm diam rod to act as a hinge
2x micro switches (Remove the arms they are not needed)
1x Arduino Pro-Micro (If using as keyboard emulator)
Appropriate screws to fix micro switches in place
The firmware and windows config software was written some time ago in haste to get thing
