Uploaded 09/11/16. Foot created with Solidworks 2015. A zip file contains the source models. All files contained within are needed for model to open correctly. Additional images show where most of the work is. One of the images shows a mesh anomaly that is hard to find. I used the Solidworks "Freeform" tool to find these types of surface conditions. The source model that I used to construct the 3D solid was provided as a surface constructed human. I started work by breaking the human into subparts, fixed the surface irregularities, convert them to solids, and then joined them to complete the entire human body. I was able to create this model based on what I had learned through experimentation. In the course of working on this project and among many others like it, I’ve become relatively well adept at using a multitude of surfacing techniques and application tools. As of the time of creating this model I know of no class or tutorial that provides illustration as to how to reverse engineer or reconstruct objects like that I’ve uploaded here. For those just getting started, I have some pointers that might help you. For starters, I suggest that when working on anything that has symmetry, work on it accordingly. For example make sure your model is symmetrically placed about the origin plane(s). If not move the main body so that your origin planes may be utilized. This provides the strategic use of overlaying inserted external parts or objects as well as for mirroring objects. Sometimes working on one side is more difficult than the other. When I work on something I think of most effective path to completion. When I found one side too difficult, I then attempted to work on the other side. Don’t sit and ponder as to why this is so for it will distract you. I also suggest using the following strategy. I use iterations or stepped versions in my process. As you work the results you desire often require you to go back to an earlier state of a model. From that point you continu
