Ford Maverick Leaf Baskets

The IssueLeaves and pine needles that land on the Ford Maverick windshield eventually get washed out from the basin below the wipers. From there it either ends up loose in the engine bay or behind the front wheels. If you open the front door and look past the lower hinge, you can see the accumulation spot, but it's hard to clean out. The SolutionSo I designed these baskets that strain all of the windshield runoff and collect the leaves and pine needles. They clip onto a bracket inside the engine bay near the hood hinges and an optional magnet will also help hold them in place. You will still need to clean the baskets out once or twice a year, but it's very easy to access with the hood open. The photo below shows one installed on the driver side, looking just below the hood hinge where the engine bay meets the fenders.
