I keep breaking the metal cuffs on my forearm crutches and designed one that holds up much better than the original metal cuff. I have had both the aluminum and metal crutches and the cuff is the part I break the most. My latest set of crutches the cuff lasted about two months. I like the cuff portion to be sung around my arm so I would adjust the metal cuffs to be tight and after a few months the metal breaks.
This cuff is very comfortable to use once you de-burr it, also it is not a cold as the metal ones. I go through a pair of forearm crutches about once a year and the cuff is the first thing I replace as soon as I get a new pair. I use 100 percent infill and no supports when printing these.
I recommend buying two machine screws" #10-32 X 2 in " and two nylon lock nuts "#10-32". If you need a larger size or smaller size cuff please email me and I will make more sizes.
