Foretrex 301 data port cover

My cover has broken after many years. I designed this to replace the old cover and it works like a charm.

Unscrew the 4 screws in the cover (T5) and remove the front. Unscrew the two Phillips 000 screws and remove the printboard. Remove the white sealant gunk around the remaining "stud" from the old cover.

Print the cover in flex filament. (I used 85A which worked like a charm, though a bitch to print.)

Place the cover in place with the new stud going into the hole and "click" it into place. Use som silicone sealant around the stud to make sure it is still waterproof.

Assemble in reverse.
