Formicarium

This is my first self designed formicarium - and the first thing i ever uploaded.

I had issues to precisely cut glass / acrylic plates so i decided to design a formicarium that uses microscope slides instead.

to put this fomicarium together you will need:

- 4x M3x8 screws
- 17x + some extra (they tend to break) microscope slides

When putting the formicarium together you should be careful not to break the microscope slides. the whole thing is designed to fit very tight to avoid gaps.
Double check that there are no gaps when putting it together to avoid your ants from escaping. you will have to drill a small hole in one of the microscope slides to be able to access the humidification without removing the slides.

I am currently testing the design with a small Lasius niger colony and it works great so far.
