Foscam C1 camera window mount

If you put a security camera behind a window to get a view outdoors you will see reflections from indoors in the image. Also any IR lights on the camera for night vision will not work, throwing a big reflection from the window glass.

So, a camera indoors behind a window is not a good solution to get an outdoor view. But if you want to do that anyway ...

I have made this mount to clip in a Foscam C1 camera and stick it to the window glass. This prevents any reflections from the inside, so it gives a perfect image during the day. Of course it does not solve the issue with the IR for night vision.

The camera is angled down at 15 degrees so that I get a good overview from a 2nd floor window.

The camera press fits into the mount, the small notch on the top centre is to facilitate the rotational alignment.
