本作品为四个圆柱相交形成的几何体,曲面体可以在正四面体基础上四个圆柱相交形成.类似碳原子四个碳碳单键结构,每个圆柱夹角为arccos(-1/3)=109.47度特点是8个角度看都是圆形.中间再画个三角形一个Y.整体是24个相同的四边形曲面构成.一些角度看象正8面体,一些角度像六芒星.十分神奇. 其他作品将扩展到,六圆柱,10圆柱.采用一体打印,分体凹凸组合打印,半分体打印,自由选择在几何学中,斯坦梅茨几何体是由两个或两个以上的半径相等的圆柱体成相交而得到的立体。牟合方盖是由我国古代数学家刘徽首先发现并采用的一种用于计算球体体积的方法,类似于微元法。由于其采用的模型像一个牟合的方形盒子,故称为牟合方盖。
