FOXWELL RT100 Thermal Camera Case

Recently, I got a thermal camera that I've been using frequently, and I quickly realized that the front lens is quite prone to scratches. Unfortunately, I accidentally put a small scratch on the lens, which made me realize I needed a protective solution. Since I enjoy 3D modeling and printing, I decided to design a custom case for the camera to protect it from further damage.

The design process took some time, as I wanted to ensure a good balance between protection and ease of use. After carefully measuring the camera, I modeled a case that would be snug but still allow the camera to be easily inserted and removed. The fit is a little loose by design—this was intentional to allow the camera to slide in with just the right angle. Once you find that angle, the camera slips in smoothly, making it easy to insert or remove without too much friction.

To hold the case together, I repurposed four screws from an old broken laptop I had taken apart. These screws were quite small, and
