How it works: The brace is fastened on the inside of the arm so that when the elbow bends, that it is stopped just short of 90 degrees. The intent is to give the wearer as much freedom of movement as possible, while preventing the ability to reach their face with their hands. This is for conditions such as Lesch-Nyhan syndrome where there is a constant urge to scratch at their face causing injury.

May 1 Revision: Moved the slots for the straps up to the top so it is easier to put on without digging into the arms of the wearer. Plus, added a Superman decoration.

July 19 update: User is still thrilled with the design! He is using it often and enjoying the freedom of having free movement without the fear that he will hurt himself.
