Updated Legs, Feets, Bottom Board, Leg and body servo connectors if wanting to add bearings for smoother walking.
If - You use the V2 Bottom Board, Leg and body servo connectors -
You will Need 6 (six) MR85-2RS Deep Groove Ball Bearing 5x8x2.5mm Double Sealed and install them on the bottom plate like on the pictures above.
It will reduce friction and noise. Possibly extend the life of the parts as well.
The V2 Bottom Board, the Leg and Body Connector are already modified for the bearings - NO Drilling needed!
The Legs and Feet can be used with no other Modification needed - Just to make Your Hexapod taller.
Okay, I know I am way behind...But was asked to make and upload these for the Hexy.
STL's for the Top board, Bottom Board, Extended Legs, and extended Feets!
The Legs are 20mm longer.
The feet are 20 mm longer.
Roughly 3/4 of an inch longer. With both together, and the angle - adds about 1.5 inches of total usable height.
