This is the tinyAIR! It uses an ATtiny 85, one speaker, a 2AA battery box, an 8 pin DIP IC socket, some protoboard, and a magnetic sensor. It is a build - place design, so you don't have to build the electronics in the case. The lid tops it off nicely, and the only thing you can see on it is the speaker.
Note: I used a sparkfun ATtiny85 programmer to program my ATtiny.
With the code below, it will beep after the freezer has been left open for 100 seconds.
