My door handle broke on my garage refrigerator and a new one was going to cost 5! A few hours in Fusion 360 and few hours printing yielded these door handle brackets. The file has a top and a bottom bracket. To create the handle, you will need:1 1/8 inch round dowell rod from your hardware storeSandpaperSaw to cut the dowell to fit (Or have it cut at the hardware store)Longer screwsPrint the brackets. Measure and cut the dowell to length. Lightly sand the ends of the dowell that will insert into the brackets. Don't oversand. You want them to fit snug so they don't spin in the bracket. Install the bottom bracket. Insert the dowell into the bottom bracket Insert the dowell into the top bracket and then line the top bracket up with the old top holes to ensure the dowell is the right size. Once you are happy with the dowell size, keep it inserted into the top bracket and install the top bracket. Sit back and marvel at your new door handle that cost you less than 0!
