My wife has a very old Ecco frosting spreader that she loves but its on its last legs. It was especially good for running around the circumference of a cake pan to help releases the cake. It was plastic so it didn't scratch the pan.
This design works just as well. I've made it in PETG and PC but haven't gotten it to work with Taulman3D T-Glase, which is food grade, due to warping and bed adhesion problems, even on glass with a brim.
