FT Explorer Wing Clip

When flying the original (non-mini) Flite Test Explorer with a 500 g battery, I had to use a large number of rubber bands to secure the wing. Under high-G maneuvers, the wing would still flex and flutter, and I occasionally observed in-flight CG shifts depending on how the rubber bands were tensioned.

I designed this clip to positively locate and lock the wing in place. It wraps around the front skewer and creates a fixed saddle for the wing’s leading edge, eliminating movement under load.
