This fume extractor is based on the cardboard version I was using for the last year. After getting my new helping hand, the cardboard box just didn't toe the line so I designed my replacement.
Parts required
1 x 120 mm fan
1 x 12 V power adapter suitable for your fan
1 x Round Rocker Switch [SPST (On/Off) Rocker Switch, 3/4″ (19.05mm) Mounting hole – keyed to prevent rotation]
1 x Panel Mount 2.1mm DC Barrel Jack
Wire to connect barrel jack, switch and fan
