This project is the second version (v2) of my soldering fume extractor, completely redesigned and improved compared to the first version published about two years ago.
The goal of this project is to create a compact, modular, and safe fume extractor, designed for use on a workbench during soldering and other activities that produce potentially harmful fumes.
Design
The entire extractor was designed using Fusion 360.
From the outside, the case looks like a simple rectangular box closed with screws, but inside every space has been carefully designed to properly house all the required components.

The main structure of the fume extractor, which holds all components.
Motor mounting supports
Designed to be printed in ABS, so the flexibility of the material helps reduce and absorb motor vibrations.
Activated carbon filter housing
