Fume extractor created from an old halogen desk lamp. The halogen light is replaced with an LED strip and fumes are extracted using a re-purposed CPU fan through a filter.
This mainly serves to stop the fumes from drifting towards me, but I added a carbon filter sponge in the hope that it will actually keep some of the nastiness out of the air in the room...
This requires:
* Old CPU fan (the scad file expects 42mm between screws)
* Halogen desk lamp (the kind with two telescoping metal arms)
* Diode bridge (e.g. one from [ebay](http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=diode+rectifier+bridge+2a&_sop=15&LH_BIN=1))
* Optionally, a toggle switch to have lights without the fan
* A carbon filter sponge, cut to size.
Essentially replace the normal head of the desk lamp with this print. You will have to adapt the measurements to that of your fan and the specific desk lamp.
