My remix of gdlzslip's "Funny six feet + Myo" uses a 9V AA battery pack and a DC/DC Buck module to drop the 9V to 5V for the PCA9685 servo controller board.
The base and most of the leg parts are unchanged from the original but I did beef up Leg 0 and 4, I printed using PLA with 25% infill and broke two of Leg 0 during assembly.
I dropped one Leg 4 on the ground and it broke fairly easily.
I made different mounting plates but did not print the mounting holes for the PCA9685, Buck Module, etc. as I wasn't sure where I wanted to put everything.
I also used a different ultrasonic sensor mount.
The Nano and the HM-10 clone Bluetooth module I used are mounted on a protoboard and I added screw down terminals to make wiring easier.
For my Bluetooth app I used "Dabble" which is free.
I also made a fixture to hold the hexapod using two 3D printed mounts, the mounts are attached to 1/4" allthread but I did not size the holes in the mounts.
