The default e3d clip that comes with the Fusematic Printer causes the heat block to rub on the v-rail if positioned incorrectly. This can cause some problems, especially for newer owners of the printer if they do not know what to look for. This new clip lowers and brings forward the e3d hotend to keep it away from the v-rail and also to add a few mm of space from the z coupler if attached too high.
I suggest printing in ABS or PETG as this part is in direct contact with the hotend and if not properly cooled will melt if printed in PLA. It can be used in PLA, but I would advise against it.
