Here is my Power Nose conversion for the FX707s Albatross Foam Chuck Glider, including a fully 3D Printed 8x5 folding propeller.
**PLEASE NOTE** I have now uploaded the souce Fuzion 360 F3Z file so you can make edits to suit your model. I take no responsibility as to the safely of this folding propeller system if you use a larger motor or battery than what I have tested and flown.
Test Print Settings:
0.12 layer height
3 bottom and 3 top layers.
3 wall line thickness.
Mounting Plate - 20% line infill
All other parts - 100% line infill
Print 2 x 39mm_Plate.3mf
Print 2 x 39mm_Hub_8x5_Folding_Blade.3mf
Print 1 each of all other parts
The nose of the FX707s needs to be cut with approximately 5° down thrust. Press the template onto the nose with the internal taper matching the profile of the nose, tape in place and cut BEHIND the template. Alternatively, cut in front of the template and sand to the final position to match the Mounting Plate.
I mounted the Motor Plate to the M
