G8689 Belt Drive Conversion

Changed a lot, fixed a lot, these are made for my grizzly g8689. covered the center shaft, beefed it up, and on JLC3DP as of 7/12/25 these cost $70 for the pair printed in SLS-3201PA-F Nylon. Also, Grizzly.com has the 1.5x70 belts for $7 and the timing gear $3 from the g8688 mini-lathe fits the g8689, much better than a PLA printed one. both gears are $2-3 on JLC3DP as well. I hope all this helps. I would not recommend the original as the design with the spacers is a bit flimsy. this works great! Will update as needed.
