The Galactic Starcruiser experience featured a larger-than-typical holocron as one of the main story elements. This is my tribute to that prop.
I will be very up front, this is not an easy prop to make. First, to print it at what I think is accurate ship-scale, it /barely/ fits on a 256mm bed. It will fit fine for a 1 color print, If you do multi-color, getting the print and the prime tower might not be possible without scaling it down a bit. That shouldn't be a problem for assembly, but be aware.
To make the holocron, print the same part 6 times. I use bambu translucent ice blue, and metal iridium gold filaments. I think these are a pretty decent match to the original, and work well together.
If you plan to light it up, you want to print the blue with no infill -- 100% solid. That goes through a lot of filament. You'll need 2 1kg spools of the ice blue to complete it. That plus the pla metal makes this a pretty spendy project.
For assembly, just glue / heat weld your parts togeth
