It has an inner hole for this magnet https://amzn.to/3WmRttn . However, it also has a flat back if you have some magnetic paper or something else. It's big and readable from across my kitchen, cus I'm blind and still don't know why I see makers of these use size 16 font like I'm gonna see that.
