Game Master’s Cane

Game Master’s Cane is a modular walking cane inspired by tabletop role-playing games. The hand support element is formed as a twelve-sided D12 die, scaled to the proportions of a modern cane handle.

In modern use, the cane is an unusual object: effectively a club that can be carried and used every day. It can be taken anywhere and used openly, as it is perceived as a walking aid rather than a weapon, even though structurally it is simply a club with a small striking head.

This modular cane is designed as a functional object for tactile interaction that supports calmness, balance, and focus. Its construction functions as a tool for neuromechanical self-regulation: weight, rhythm, and tactile contact act as stabilizing stimuli for the nervous system, helping reduce tension and improve concentration.
