Garage sensor sunshade

Is your garage door struggling to close in the early morning or around sunset? This is often caused by sunlight interfering with the garage door's infrared safety sensors. This sunshade can help solve that problem! During the design process, I focused on minimizing the diameter to reduce the impact of sunlight. This version is designed with an optimal aiming angle for the infrared LED, ensuring it primarily detects light from the LED itself. Feel free to extend the tube or decrease the head hole diameter for even greater precision. I printed this in PETG, but PLA should also work. I highly recommend using a dark-colored filament for the best light-blocking performance.
