This compound-action garlic press squishes garlic easily with minimal hand pressure, and the nubs on the plunger push the garlic down into the grid to get more complete garlic ejection. I printed this in PLA, which is generally food safe (modulo additives), but because 3D parts are always a little bit porous, it'll always have microscopic bits of garlic residue.
