This THING is to replace the key mechanism on a Stanley Hardware (may also be called a D&D Tecnologies) S836-171 CD6203 LokkLatch Deluxe Gate Latch.
To recap, the Stanley/D&D is a latching mechanism with keyed entries on both sides. On gates where both sides are equally accessible this is logical However in situations where one side is secure, having a keyed entry on that side can be a hinderance.
This THING comprises 2 parts:
Key Drum Replacement
Designed to replace the key drum on the mechanism side of the latch. In theory it could be fitted either side (mechanism or remote). It will resist pull-through but the design of the latch means push-through is a problem. (Maybe in a future release)
Key Drum Tongue
The part of the drum that engages with the mechanical toggle. Can be replaced with an appropriate sized piece of metal for more piece of mind.

I was prompted to design this after accidentally locking myself out of the back door and then realisin
