This is an object to test robot gripper and it's based on a "puzzle" design. The test for the robot consists in grabbing the top part and remove it, paying attention to the guidelines inside the bell . Once it removed the top the challenge becomes a bit more difficult, in fact the gripper must take the inner part in laying on the basement, paying still attention to the guidelines. I thought this object could be an insteresting challenge for any machine cause it really has't any vertical tangent surface and once grabbed it must be turned to find hte right allignement to remove the parts. I think that if every piece will be made molding it and then grinded the object will be more challenging (smooth) for the robot. I'm sorry for the quality of renderings, i will improve.
