I present my entry for the GE Jet Engine Bracket Challenge. Even though I’ve been very busy and only had small time allocated for this challenge, I’m still confident with this entry. Mass Comparison Original: 4.52lb/2050grams My Entry: 1.14lb/517grams (75% reduction) For the simulation: Load Condition 1 (8000lb vertical): 118ksi Load Condition 2 (8500lb horizontal): 105ksi Load Condition 3 (9500lb 42degress from vertical): 91.2ksi Load Condition 4 (5000lb-in horizontal plane): 100ksi
