A complete, production-ready Single-Stage Helical Gear Reducer Unit designed and modeled in SolidWorks. This project integrates mechanical component design, strict engineering calculations, and high-fidelity CAD modeling. Key Specifications: Power & Speed: 5 kW @ 1440 rpm input with a 4:1 speed reduction ratio. Gear Train: 20T Alloy Steel Pinion & 80T Cast Iron Gear (Module = 3mm, Helix Angle = 20 degrees). Shafts & Keys: 25mm input and 35mm output AISI 1045 steel shafts with standard C45 parallel keys. Bearings & Housing: 6xxx series ball bearings optimized for combined radial and axial loads, enclosed in a Grey Cast Iron housing with lubrication ports.
