Shortly after starting 3d printing with a geeetech a10, i found that the stock hot end was not really reliable and i decided to upgrade for a genuine e3d v6. After some time spent looking for a mount i decided to make one from scratch.
The mount is made to fit the stock x axis kart on the geeetech a10.
Two fan are intgrated, the one coming withe the v6 to cool the hot end and one to cool the layers (5015).
I havent designed the blower tube yet as i am printing only petg at the moment but i will at some point.
I didnt have any m3 nuts so i used m4 for the bottom of the mount and to do so you need to drill the botoms holes on the kart at 4.5mm.
To mount it you will need :
- 2* m3 screws (i used the one from the stock hotend)
- 2* m4x12 (m4x20 work as well)
- 4* m4x20 to fit the two parts together
- 8* m4 nuts
- 8* m4 washers
The fan coming with the hotend is fitted on the front part using the screws provided by e3d.
Print settings :
Material : petg
speed : 40m
