One year ago, I bought the "Geeetech E180". The alignment of the print bed was already a challenge in which the printer has almost destroyed itself. But then I did it. When printing for the first time, the touchscreen is frozen. I waited for the end of the print and restarted the printer. After that, I only got a white screen, nothing went anymore!!! I could only operate the printer with the software.
I have never seen such a bad printer. I really wanted to smash that printer against a wall. But that would have been too bad. So, So I decided to remove everything that is bad (electronics, wiring, motors and parts of the mechanics)
I rebuilt the printer with an MKS-Base v1.5 / MKS-TFT 28 v3.0, replaced the original extruder by a J-Head (With some modifications) and made a new wiring / little bit different.
It came out, what can be seen in the photos. A printer, with a good operating concept, for printing small parts up to max. 120x120x120mm.
The printer is controlled by "Repeti
