This is a structure made of M8 threaded rods and 3D printed parts that can replace Geeetech i3 structure.
The extruder assembly is still a work in progress...I included the file if you fancy modifying it...
The rest is pretty much ok but there is still nothing designed to hold the electronics and the display.
The original Geeetech tensioning pulley for X and Y axis fits the respective plates.
The bearings, axis, Z rods (M8x1mm) and nuts, are the same measures of original Geeetech i3 (x=390mm,y=410mm,z=320mm).
The printing area is increased to about X=300mm, Y290mm, Z215mm.
Limit switches fixing areas are designed with "home" and "end" positions, except at the top of Z axis (that is not present anyway in Geeetech printer).
The rods are 12, M8, at max 500mm long, so it should all be done with 6x1000mm M8 rods.
There are holes on the Y axis plates for 2 extra threaded bars if needed to hold it tighter.
The X carriage axis are placed horizontally instead of vertically, interax
