This is a modification for Geeetech i3 with plywood frame that is 5.5mm thick. If your frame is the same thickness then the modification is good for that too.
The modification consists on prolonging the vertical axis Z frame to gain some vertical printing area.
Out of the box the machine has a vertical printing area of about 190mm, with this modification it increase to 230mm.
The only extra material needed are 4 M3x20 bolts and relative nuts to fix the top plate to the longitudinal board and the top plate to the top transversal plate (the one with the display) There are 4 holes to be drilled in total, or you can use tapping screws.
All the rest is fixed to the existing fixing points with the original nuts and bolts.
P.S.
If you have limits set in Marlin firmware, you have to change Z_MAX_POS in "configuration.h"
The plate need to be stiff, so it is better to print it with a decent infill, 20% minimum.
