The 'Geeetech A10' produces great results straight out of the box but some areas can be improved. In particular 'part cooling' and the 'extruder'.
This design replaces the hot end heat sink mount with a printed alternative that provides better cooling for the heat sink, provides a mounting for the existing part cooling fan and optionally allows for mounting an additional part cooling fan.
The additional fan provides part cooling from both sides of the nozzle.
Assembly is pretty straight forward however the 'Bottom Clamp' is fiddly to fit. It could probably be left out but I am more confident with nozzle stability with it fitted.
The holes for M3 screws will accept M3 screws directly with some degree of force however I prefer to use a tap for a few turns to get things started. The M2 screws fit fairly easily.
A slot for a cable tie is provided - mid height on the left rear upright.
LED lights can be fitted using the 'Light Bar' which is super glued to the bottom front
