Gem facet machine height adjustment

This is a prototype of an height adjustment for a lapidary machine.
Shown here with a micrometer. Could also be equipped with a simple screw.

Drilling must be completed at 2.5, 4.2 and 15mm mm and tapping at M3 and M5

You will need another ring to have the micrometer pushing on it. Reversing this same part and cutting excessive height will do the job;
