Gen8 - Winch Support Box

This is a culmination of Tweaked Wood crate by Intashu, and 1Tenth Scale RC Drop Hitch (Separated Files Remix) by Clownrock95. The original files are linked in those remixes.

I recently installed a winch on my Gen8 and wanted somewhere to stow towstraps, and a snatch block. I found the Tweaked Wood crate, and it looked awesome! I thought about how I would attach it to my truck, and came across Clownrocks95's drop hitch specifically for the Gen8, perfect! I shrunk the crate, integrated the hitch, and shortened the length of the drop, or in this case, riser. This allows the crate to sit flush with the rear bumper and stop just below the license plate. The lid does snap in place, but I attached a small neodymium magnet to the inside of the lid, and one on the bottom of the box for a little pulling power.

A light coat of thinned brown acrylic paint, with a second spotted coat of thinned darker brown, and a final blackwash really make it stand out!
