Generic child safety lock

This is a very simply generic child safety lock that can be used on any drawer or door that uses a through hole bolt to secure the handle.

Just replace the handle with a lock base and keep a tool nearby. The tool fits over the base and a 90 degree twist locks them together. The base can take a bolt that sticks out up to 10mm but 4 or 5mm will be enough to secure it.

This design can take a fair bit of load but it is not indestructible and for simplicity it does use a printed thread. I didn't think it was worth my time to calibrate the design to a very good fit so it is a bit loose and consequently possibly prone to damage. That said, I have been using these in the kitchen for a month and our drawers are heavy and has a lot of friction. So it will probably be just fine for you too.

I have included versions that use both M4 and M5. f3d and step files are included for you to adjust and remix to your hearts content.
