Generic Laptop To Desktop Conversion Project

This project converts an physically damaged laptop I received on Marketplace into a desktop PC. Example laptop used: Acer Predator G9-593 laptop

The original FreeCAD design is provided so you can adjust laptop PCB mounting holes to generic laptop design. Instructions on how to update mounting hole locations provided.

Instructions:
1). Start by extracting the main board from the broken laptop plastics
2). Take a picture on a cutting board with measurement marks (important). This photo should be as high as possible and directly above the PCB.
3). Download and install engage digitizer software (https://engauge-digitizer.software.informer.com/4.1). This software allows you to take accurate measurements from a photo, given x-y coordinates are in the picture ( as per step 2 on the cutting board). This tool is very useful for extracting exact numerical data from messy raster images. (see engage.png for examples of Axis (red dots) and screw holes (blue dots))
