Presenting Geometric Globe! This is an icosahedron net that folds together and fastens with clips holding it into a perfect icosahedron shape. The end result is a very pleasing geometric globe. No glue or hardware required. Just fold it together and then slip it into the stand. The sheer size of the model requires that it be printed on a printer in the H2D family. It is possible that it could scale down to smaller printers, but I haven't tried it so I don't know if the clips would secure as well on a smaller version. I do have a different version with more of the platonic solids that I designed for smaller printers. Find it under “Platonic Earth” on Maker World.
