Geometric Retro Heart Keychain

Printed with PLA/PLA+, 0.2mm layer height and twicked for minimum filament changes without losing the quality. For the “Reimagining Retro” 3D printing contest, I designed a retro-inspired geometric heart keychain that blends vintage aesthetics with modern 3D printing techniques. This piece takes inspiration from classic pixel art, low-poly graphics, and ’80s–’90s arcade design, transforming a timeless symbol into a contemporary wearable accessory. The heart is built from a network of triangular geometric segments, outlined with bold black borders reminiscent of retro game sprites and digital vector motifs. The contrasting red infill adds a nostalgic arcade feel while maintaining a clean, modern look achievable through multicolor 3D printing. This compact accessory celebrates the charm of old-school graphics while showcasing the precision and creativity of modern fabrication. It’s a small but meaningful example of how classic visual styles can be reimagined, upgraded, and brought back to life through innovative 3D design.
