A lot of time and testing went into the design for these prop guards. They don't provide the performance increase of ducts, but they make it safer to fly around people, and prevent crashes from prop strikes. With these installed I can fly through woods without worrying about every little twig and branch bringing down my quad.
The curved guards are TPU. The mount pieces and the side braces are PLA+. The side brace is a 6mm carbon fiber arrow shaft, but could be any 6mm tube. Hardware is M2x12 screws and M2 nuts. The guards are used in conjunction with arm guards, antenna mount, and camera mounts uploaded separately. Print the TPU arm guards with lots of perimeters, to avoid internal voids, which weaken the prints. The guard models I uploaded are for the left hand side. For right hand side parts, mirror them in your slicer software. Print plugs laying on their sides, as shown.
