This chilling model depicts the Bean Nighe, the Scottish Banshee, drawn from the rich folklore of the Highlands and Isles. Known as the “Washer at the Ford,” the Bean Nighe is said to appear beside remote streams and lochs, washing the bloodied clothes of those destined to die. Her appearance is a dire omen, her long, scraggly hair covering her face as she crouches low over the water, endlessly wringing out garments of the soon-departed. Tales of the Bean Nighe are deeply rooted in places like Appin and the Isle of Mull, where such spectral figures have long haunted local legend. Though terrifying, she is not always malevolent — in some stories, those who dare approach her may receive warnings of impending death or even have their fates altered. This model was printed in Bambu PLA White which gives a nice translucent, ghostly effect. The water base, printed in SUNLU PLA Blue, small crooked pliers will make the removal of the supports easier as there are a few.
