Ghostbusters Trap Pedal - Electronics - Remix

Original Design & Concerns

The original CountSpatula plans use two 3D printed discs. One is glued to the bottom of the foot plate, while the bottom screws into the base.

They contain a small "lip" that is designed to keep the rubber tube connecting them from slipping off.

In practice, this design puts a lot of pressure on the rubber tube as well the lips can easily become dislodged allowing the pedal plate to swing open causing possible damage.

From an aesthetic point of view, with the rubber tube fully extended it causes the angle on the foot pedal to be way too high.

The Idea

In this remixed design I wanted to find a way to attach a wire to the foot pedal to to keep it anchored in place and allow me to adjust the hieght and angle of the pedal.
