Gingery Lathe

These are STL files for the casting patterns in David Gingery's book The Metal Lathe. I made most of the patterns as two-piece patterns using .17 caliber BBs to align the two pattern halves (you'll notice the small cavities on the bottom side of the patterns). The book is available from various book sellers online and has all the instructions on assembly. If you're new to metal casting, The Charcoal Foundry by David Gingery is a great place to start learning. I did all of the 3D modelling with TinkerCAD.
