Girl with Balloon

It shows a little girl reaching for a red, heart-shaped balloon that is slipping away from her. The motif is often interpreted as a symbol of hope, love or loss. The red balloon often stands for something precious or longing that is out of reach.  Banksy first sprayed this work on a wall in London around 2002 - it is now one of his best-known works.   The model is 2 mm thick, which is all it needs. The balloon stays true to the original design – just look at the black string. There are two versions with the colored balloon. The first one can be printed using AMS with red and black, requiring 10 filament changes. The second version is printed layer by layer, each color separately. For this one, the balloon string needs to be glued on at the end.
