Glowing Display Base

This glowing display base is a great way to show off your favorite prints and add attractive decor and ambiance to any space. I use it to display a T-Rex skull I printed at 200% from a Thingiverse model (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:308335). It works great as a nightlight as well. It uses the 4 piece lithohane kit from Maker Supply for the light source. I used black PLA Basic and a translucent Crystal Rainbow PLA I got off Amazon. You could use any translucent filament color for your desired glow effect. The base is 210mm x 162mm and 30mm tall with a 10mm gap between the lights and the panel to allow for some heat dissipation. 10% infill is all you need for the base. There is also a hole for the cord to pass through. The panel itself is 5mm thick with 100% infill so that individual lights are not visible. As a result, you get a nice even glow. If your slicer allows, you can decrease the panel thickness as desired. I hope you like it and feel free to share pictures with your favori
